Matthew Bate is an award-winning writer and director whose work spans feature documentaries, television drama, virtual reality, factual series and interactive television. His films have premiered at Sundance, SXSW, Rotterdam, HotDocs, Netflix and the New York Times amongst others. Matthew is a co-director and founder of Closer Productions based in Adelaide.
