Alexa is a script producer, series creator, writer, script editor and story consultant totalling over a thousand hours of Australian drama including JANET KING, ALL SAINTS, McLEOD’S DAUGHTERS, WATER RATS, the original HEARTBREAK HIGH, top ten Netflix series MAKO MERMAIDS, THE BUREAU OF MAGICAL THINGS, and many more. She worked on all 8 series of McLEOD’S DAUGHTERS; on all seasons of top ten Netflix series MAKO MERMAIDS and THE BUREAU OF MAGICAL THINGS, and on season 2 of animated series NINA AND OLGA for RAI TV Italy. She has worked in all genres including crime, legal, medical, children’s, preschool, animation and documentary.

She has co-created series optioned by Beyond Entertainment and Studio Pictures, UK. She is writer/script producer on a dramedy optioned by Easy Tiger, co-creator/script producer/writer on an Indigenous crime series developed with funding from South Australian Film Corporation, developed a feature biopic for Mushroom Studios and Lucky Country Productions and is script editor on a romcom feature funded by Screen Australia.

She is the recipient of a Distinctly Australian Script Editing Fellowship, and was selected as one of 6 for The Creators Initiative 2024, attending Jeff Melvoin’s prestigious show runner course in LA.

She has script edited on numerous feature film projects, and assessed scripts for Screen Tasmania, South Australian Film Corporation, Screen NSW, Screen Australia and Australian Writer’s Guild.

She is also a playwright with productions at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Stables Theatre, Sydney, Melbourne Writer’s Festival, Bridewell Theatre, London and Northern Light Theatre Company, Canada.
