The Mercury (and formerly MRC) has a 50-year legacy of fostering screen culture and supporting  filmmakers in South Australia, launching the careers of many of the state’s most celebrated screen talent. With a tailored suite of industry development programs and on-site film production facilities, we are poised to support the next generation of South Australian filmmakers in a strategic and wholistic way.

All donations over $2 are tax deductable and all funds raised directly support programs for the next generation of local filmmakers. Our focus is on nurturing screen talent, and increasing access and participation of people from underrepresented communities including First Nations practitioners, and people who are LGBTQIA+, female and female identifying, CALD, regional and remote, and deaf and disabled.
