Persian Film Festival

The Mercury is proud to partner with Persian Film Festival Australia this July, bringing a special touring program of acclaimed Persian-language cinema to Adelaide audiences. 

As part of the festival’s national tour, The Mercury will present two remarkable films that showcase the richness, diversity and cinematic legacy of Iranian storytelling: Mortician, directed by Abdolreza Kahani, and The Stranger and the Fog, the newly restored masterpiece from legendary Iranian filmmaker Bahram Beyzaie. 

Both films will screen as Adelaide premieres and will be presented exclusively at The Mercury as part of the festival’s Australian tour.
