Flickerfest, Australia’s largest short film festival, is back in Adelaide for one night only with two unmissable screenings at The Mercury!

Celebrating 35 years and as part of its 2026 national tour, Flickerfest presents a stellar lineup of award-winning and much-loved festival favourites, showcasing the very best in storytelling from around the world, alongside exciting local talent.

Audiences can immerse themselves in two exceptional programmes: Best of Australian Shorts and Best of International Shorts, featuring standout films selected from a record-breaking 3,700 entries received for Flickerfest’s prestigious Academy Award® and BAFTA-qualifying competition in Bondi.
