INTRO TO PRODUCING & SCREEN BUSINESS

Intro to Producing & Screen Business is a 2 day, in-person course held on-site at The Mercury from 9:30am – 3:30pm Saturday 28 June and Sunday 29 June 2025.

Enrolments close June 27.

In this Intro to Producing & Screen Business course, you’ll explore all facets of a producer and their responsibilities from the conception of a screen project to bringing it to market. You will learn about intellectual property and developing screen ideas, budgeting, below-the-line production to post-production, and the state of the screen industry.

ON SET ONBOARDING

On Set Onboarding is a hands-on, 3-day course.

Learn about the production process and the key roles in the Australian screen industry. The course is a combination of classroom-based and experiential learning designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to work in a professional screen production industry environment.

On Set Onboarding is an in-person course taught over 3-days, 9:30am – 5:00pm including classroom sessions and an on-set activity. Classroom sessions will take place at The Mercury and Day 2 production activities will take place at Star Avenue Studios.
