A widower has his film producer friend organise a fake audition as a means of helping him find a new girlfriend, but the woman he selects is not who she appears to be. Considered by many to be Takashi Miike’s masterpiece, this wonderfully unpleasant psychological horror remains a high point in disturbing cinema.
