An Indian living in Australia visits his homeland in rural north India with his Australian friend Jack and while discussing its culture & customs with Jack he recalls a peculiar custom of marriage matchmaking. Jack’s curiosity makes a reluctant Roopi open pandora’s box of his own past when in 1980s the prevailing social morality and rebellion of youngsters collided. A clever matchmaking barber helped to find a way out of the social quagmire.
