A visiting Guru guides them, selecting individuals for roles based on their aptitude and understanding of the epic. Balancing their daily responsibilities with the demands of the play, they pour their heart and soul into the production. The film follows their journey, from the initial auditions and rehearsals to the culminating seven-day performance, showcasing their unwavering devotion, their challenges, and the profound sense of community that binds them together. “Maa Oori Ramayanam” is a testament to the enduring power of tradition and the unifying force of art, even amidst the constraints of limited resources and challenging circumstances.
