The Mercury celebrates the 50^th anniversary of the MRC (Media Resource Centre).

With an incredible legacy, established in 1974 as the Media Resource Centre (MRC) and now fully integrated with the Mercury Cinema as one organisation, The Mercury is still supporting emerging SA filmmakers and creating career paths into the screen industry.

It remains the only regional screen office in Australia, and we are proud to acknowledge the community that brought this vision to life.
