Ryan Williams

Ryan Williams has held several Board, CEO and Managing Director roles over the past 20 years, including previously the CEO of Ster-Kinekor Theatres, a large cinema chain in sub-Saharan Africa with 60 venues and almost 500 screens under management at the time. During his tenure, Ster-Kinekor grew profits by ~$165m, pioneered new technologies and experiences and became a major IMAX partner before being sold. He continues to have an interest in the film and entertainment sector and currently serves as Non-Executive Director on the Ster-Kinekor Board. In an 18-month project in 2012/2013, Ryan oversaw a 450% turnaround of the same organisation’s business to business division and worked on the migration to digital projection across the circuit. 
 
Since 2021, Ryan has headed the Australian Centre for Business Growth (AUCBG) at UniSA, Australia’s only structured growth program for small & medium sized businesses. The AUCBG has advised more than 1,450 businesses across Australia to help them grow. Ryan Chairs the Board for Southern Angels, is a member of the MarketEase Advisory Board and a Graduate of the AICD Director’s program.
