Facilitated by prolific South Australian Line Producer (The Twelve, Aftertaste) and Producer (Monolith, Kangaroo Island) Bettina Hamilton, this intensive one-day Launch Lab will provide a comprehensive overview of this vital nerve centre, equipping you with the knowledge and practical insights needed to navigate the day-to-day world of a busy production office.

You will learn the ins and outs of key production roles, gaining a practical understanding of the responsibilities of Line Producers, Production Managers, Coordinators, Secretaries, Assistants, and Runners, and how their daily tasks contribute to the overall production.

Mastering essential production paperwork is crucial, and you will ascertain how to create and utilise vital documents like pre-production schedules, crew lists, call sheets, shooting schedules and daily production reports, understanding how these tools streamline workflows and ensure efficient day to day production.

Finally, we will explore communication strategies that foster collaboration between the production office and the set, allowing you to develop effective communication skills and learn to navigate challenges that arise.
