Script Club with Kath Dooley Discussing BARBIE (2023)
- Mon, Apr 7
Run Time: 120 min.
Associate Professor Kath Dooley will lead this script club on Barbie (2023), written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach. During the session, we’ll discuss the film’s character arcs, world building in the ‘big print’ (contrasting Barbie Land and the ‘real world’) and the film’s feminist themes. We’ll also consider the way the script moves between comedy and serious reflection.
