Josephine Emery is a screenwriter, novelist, script editor and teacher. She has made films with the likes of Phil Noyce, Scott Hicks and Craig Lahiff. She won an AWGIE Award for a TV mini-series adaptation along with fellow South Australian, Rob George. Emery has written and story-lined for prime-time TV drama and Head of Screenwriting for AFTRS in Sydney. She has also collaborated with a variety of first-time screenwriters, as well as seeing through student films from story outline to screen. Emery has experience in developing features from first idea, to production, through to the big screen. She is now back in SA developing new projects with international producers.
