Carlos Manrique Clavijo is a Colombian/Australian sound editor / sound designer, based in Kaurna Land, South Australia. He is co-founder of boutique animation company Karu-Karu and has received nominations and awards in Europe, USA, Australia and South America for best sound design, music composition and animation. He’s also run the Dolby Premiere sound studios of the South Australian Film Corporation (Mix Theatre, Foley and ADR; has been the SA rep. for the Australian Screen Sound Guild since 2020, and has worked a tertiary education lecturer in Colombia and Australia. 

His sound credits in award-winning features and series include “The King of Kings” (starring Uma Thurman, Mark Hamill, Pierce Brosnan among others), Netflix Original “I Am Mother”, “Hotel Mumbai”, “The Nightingale” and children series “Gymnastics Academy” (Netflix) and “MaveriX” (ABC).
