Funded by Shane Brennan, President of the Australian Writers Guild from 2019 to 2023, the Mercury’s Shane Brennan Writers’ Room is a dedicated space for the craft of script developing and screenwriting. Whether you’re running a writers’ room, having a script consultation or brainstorming ideas, the room is equipped with everything a writer needs to hone or execute their craft.

Each month, a different Writer in Residence offers script consultations for Mercury Subscribers to gain feedback and advice on their work.
